The data dictionary includes detailed information on the content, format and structure of each water resource data.

Water quality

Three tables are used in the water quality database: a "raw data" table used for input data; the "aggregate data" table, which contains the annual totals for the monitoring stations, which allows for the preparation of indicators; and the "monitoring points" table, which contains spatial information about the locations of monitoring points. This structure is based on EIONET's water quality data dictionary EIONET's water quality data dictionary .
